Burger Spotlight: Rice burgers


As a worldly adventurer of the burger world though mostly because I’m Asian, I’ve seen quite a few combinations of bread and stuff in my time. That’s what you think, when you hear burgers, 

Buns+ Meat+ optional extras = burger.

But get this- walking into Mos burger was the first time I heard of the rice burger.

I’ll be honest- there’s nothing really beyond the name, it’s patties of sushi rice that cradle a delicious form of meat/filling.

Origin: Taiwan, as far as I've heard/searched.

I mean, come on- look at this Chicken rice burger:

Best part: rice absorbs the delicious sauce (dare I say, more efficiently than a normal bun) and tastes pretty damn good.

I like teriyaki anything

Rice + Sauce = match made

Burger = portable


What a perfect combination- and you should check it out too.
